Tip for Sticky Scissors

So if you're like me, and you cut a lot of sticky things (form tape for example) and your scissors are NOT non-stick, then you probably get sticky scissors for adhesive residue. Fortunately I've found a quick and easy clean up solution for those sticky scissors.

if you have Un-du (sticker, tape and label remover) for your scrapbooking then you're in a good shape.

Poor a little bit of Un-du onto a cotton ball and carefully rub your open scissors blades until the glue is removed and your scissors are working properly again. be sure not to cut yourself!

A great alternative (shared by my friend Tracey) if you can't find Un-du, try looking for Bestine Solvent & Thinner. Check your local craft and art supply store. Bestine is used as a rubber cement remover! You can get it in numerous sizes and its literally the same thing as Un-Du.

Give this tip a try and let me know how it worked for you!
